My uncle Mike is probably the last person I would turn to for debt advice. He’s nearly fifty, still single and living the bachelors dream I suppose. Every time he comes over for dinner he’s telling us about some new toy he’s bought or some great concert he just got tickets for. He always invites us and we’re like, ‘No thanks uncle Mike, we’ve got a lot of other things we need to spend on money on.’ His philosophy is that there will always be some debt to pay off, why miss out on life right now? It’s a tempting philosophy but I refuse to get sucked in!!
