I didn’t know what to make of it.  Jack and Marty all wanted to bike across Alberta, and Sherry and Caine wanted to hike in British Columbia.  We had five weeks of promising weather and only one hiccup in the plan–no one could decide which way to go.  Shania and I decided to pull straws, but Sherry came up with a better idea.  We found a postcard from Canada Colocation, tore it into six pieces, wrote Alberta on two, BC on two, and hike on one, and bike on the other.  We pulled the bits of Canada Colocation postcard from a hat and ended up hiking and biking across Alberta.

The kids were driving me up the wall this weekend. I love them to pieces but at least on a week day they are at school! We took them for a walk along the canal to try to get them out of the house- they were bickering the whole way round and then we stopped at a Beefeater. It was a really nice meal (despite my little darlings knocking their juice all over the floor and then falling off their seats) so I think we’ll go again. I went to the doctor because I wasn’t feeling right for the last several weeks. I thought maybe I was just tired and needed to rest more or something.
